Our history, work ethos and who we are
Maylec Ltd was formed in 2020 by Chris May, an electrician with over 10 years' experience. We are a small company ensuring our cost base is low keeping our prices extremely competitive but can scale up as required to complete larger and more complex projects using a team of trusted subcontract electricians.
We've worked on a multitude of difference projects both as principle contractor and as a subcontractor.
From temporary power projects including the 2012 London Olympics and 2014 Commonwealth Games, to AV installations a locations ranging from Dixons Academy schools in Bradford and Liverpool to Ministry of Justice properties including HMYOI Wetherby, to electrical installations, fire detection system installations and data installations at companies including One Heritage, Multipanel (Grant Westfield), Adair Paxton, Touch AV and Triton Project solutions we have the experience to carry out your project.
Put simply, we will work with you to complete your project and we have experience and resources to do it. We can work with your architect, project manager and M&E consultant to get the best results from your project specification. We have good relationships with various plant hire projects meaning we can provide equipment ranging from site generators to MEWPs (scissor lifts and cherry pickers) at extremely competitive prices.
Our small size means we can be competitive on price whilst at the same time providing an excellent service.
